The 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League season is almost here. Here are the key dates — and a warning about the “prices” already doing the rounds.
Launch expected next week
FPL has not put an official date on it, but the new game is widely expected to go live in the week beginning Monday 27 July, in line with last season’s late-July opening. A confirmation could land any day.
Gameweek 1 deadline: Friday 21 August
The season starts with a Gameweek 1 deadline of 18:30 BST on Friday 21 August. Once the game is live, every player price is locked until that deadline.
Ignore the “prices” for now
Official 2026/27 prices have not been revealed yet — FPL usually teases them gradually in the days before launch. Any full price lists circulating right now are predictions, not confirmed values, so don’t build your plans around them.
